I really liked fasterfox on v.2 (won't work with 3)

I'm using it on 3 right now.

If you're a software(web) developer: Firebug, FireShot, Web Developer, Tamper Data, JSView, Html Validator

Good recommendation. I like it better than RIP.

This plugin alone has allowed me to actually consider using ESPN.com and Sportsline.com again

It's amazing how much faster those pages render when you get all the crap out of them.

Greasemonkey. If you don't know about it, definitely check it out. It's basically an add-on that allows...well, other add-ons. It allows users to write scrip*ts to change the appearance of websites (I use scrip*ts for Gmail and Last.fm for example).

Alright. Between the Fire Fox add ons, and the portable applications for flash drives, I've now gotten what I want. Here's my question.

Obviously my firefox off my flash drive is slower, so I would like to just use the main one on my cpu while at work. The have the flash for where ever else. But what's the best way share the same bookmarks, add-ons, plug-ins? I found how to export bookmarks and import on the other broswer, but are there better ways to ensure my portable version has all the same info as my stationary version?

You could try Mozilla weave (Mozilla Labs » Blog Archive » Introducing Weave) or foxmarks (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410).

Foxmarks has gotten really good and stable lately. I'd go with that. LastPass is really good also. Weave will get there.
