Sounds like my wife.
Frosty, wet, and white? Nice

This is what they projected last year. Which if I recall seems fairly accurate:
COLD WINTER AHEAD!
So just how cold will it be? The real teeth-chattering arrives mid-February especially in the following zones: Northeast/New England, Great Lakes, Ohio Valley, Midwest, and Southeast (yes, even the Southeast will be in the chill zone!!)
yep if its going to be cold, pile the snow on please!! granted I love snow even with out having access to all the fun toys for it anymore.I can deal with frigid as long as it's also snowy!
I could deal with out the -68 windchill, but dump the snow please. As long as it isn't as bad as this past winter, idc.
Which begs the question, what does the old farmers' almanac predict this winter for the other 94% of the Earth.Whar' global warming?
Hot and cold in placesWhich begs the question, what does the old farmers' almanac predict this winter for the other 94% of the Earth.
Meanwhile the actual forecast says warm and normal precip. Yes please.

Never trust a weather forecaster!!
You’re using the CNN of weather-related journalism to bash weather forecasters?
I just did and I'm excited to experience my first brisk winter! Plus the summer hasn't been any worse than Iowa. I've even felt like it's been less oppressively humid in general. But the trade-off is no season tickets or tailgating in Ames which is killing me inside. Also, I can't wait until I move to somewhere predicted to be "brisk" in the winter.
The two typically come hand in hand. The coldest temperatures usually only materialize with snow on the ground.
