Yeah, I don't know if I would do it on a bubble sheet because the erasure might not be clean enough and you could hurt yourself too.

I think I only did that the one time, but it was funny, because when we got our tests back, I said, "That's what you get for cheating" and he denied it, but his score was less than 50%.
Very true. I'm sure they filled it in pretty lightly though the first time. Otherwise, that would suck.

That was the ongoing joke when I was in school (late 90s). I think they mayor of Ames (no, not Hoiberg ) was actually the professor. Hardly anyone went to class because we all knew that the tests were the same questions for about 5 years in a row and everyone on campus seemed to have a copy!

Yes he was and he was missing part of a finger. I remember when it happened because everyone thought it was Hoiberg. When they found out it was the real mayor nobody cared.
I had his class with Fizer. He borrowed my pencil. Never gave it back. *****.

I wonder if they're still using the same business law tests that everyone on campus had a copy of? :jimlad:

Larry "Sue the bastards!" Curtis? That was the case circa 1980 as well. Except my buddy and I didn't have copies. Actually had to study. Paid off as one time he actually used a different test. Most students were SOL that night.

Back in high school I would always take a bottle of pop and slide my notes down the wrapping of the bottle. I could see the notes from outside in. (Mountain Dew bottles worked great but now they have the big water bottles that would work even better!

Larry Curtis still uses that phrase "sue the bastards." That was probably one of the greatest moments in a class I have had. I wonder if his story changes at all, he used the example of a person getting hit by a car and having no insurance.

This is a high school story, but in physics class I noticed the guy next to me cheating off my test, so I wrote down the wrong answers, mixed in with a few right ones. As soon as he turned in his paper, I went back and corrected them.

Why do you have to be like that? While the rest of us are out there winning state titles guys like you try and keep us down. Shame on you...

Still same story. At least that was it 2 years ago when I took 215.

Had the same class with Curtis. One time a girl went up to complain that she got a bad grade on the test and it wasn't fair that everyone else had the test. He basically told her to get better friends!!

Little tip, from my day anyway, he was a high school football ref - loved talking about high school football in Iowa. Helped me out.

Acct. 215 was so easy just because we all had a copy of the old tests. If you didn't have a copy, you weren't doing something right.

Trust me, the guy that was cheating had no real athletic future.

Astro 120 tests were all the same as well. Plus that class was bad A because you got to sit in the Planaterium and the dude that tought it was a straight sci-fi freak that is some lead researcher on extraterestrial life. If you were into the "hippy culture" if you will, nothing better than Friday afternoon Planaterium "lab"

The basic Trans Log class everyone had to take in the business school had the same tests and notes too.

That class is changing yet again. :arghh:

Went to Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Next semester gets combined with Operations and Supply Chain Management to make Supply Chain Management so everything gets f'd up again. :arghh: What moron thought those two had to be separate anyways?
