Uh-Oh. Forgot to pass this by the wife first. Awkward.
EVERY game in the upcoming section is always on ESPN3 in my experience. It doesn't matter if the side says ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 or ESPNU. Just the fact that it's in that section "upcoming" means it is on.
Now this could be some weird anomaly and the first time that is not the case, but normally what the guy posted and what everyone is looking at means it is on ESPN3 as long as your ISP carries it.

Is there a difference between WatchESPN and ESPN3?
WatchESPN allows you to watch anything going on on any of the ESPN networks including regular shows and you have to have a certain provider for it.

I love the debate here. One side sticks to their guns, the other side does too. I'm definitely on the side that you won't get the game and am sticking by it. Feel free to rub it in my face if I'm wrong, but if that is the case, then I'm okay with it because then I'll be watching the game at home like I'd like to. However, I don't think I'm wrong.
Depening how many beers in I am at that point, I may not even recognize you as human. What would be awkward is if I showed up and you realized I'm a guy. Cause I am.
So could WatchESPN have the game and ESPN3 not have the game?
This thread is getting stupid. If you have been watching anything on ESPN3.com for the last few years, you would know that they play a variety of espn content (ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and . . . "ESPN3"). The designation in the schedule is just to tell you where the feed is coming from (e.g., tonight's feed for the ESPN3.com content is coming from ESPNU). The only thing that I have seen designated as just "ESPN3" is usually when the content isn't one one of the other big television-based feedsd (ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU) but rather is provided by some other regional agreement as "ESPN3" content (or sometimes, exclusive to ESPN3). This is how I've watched nearly every ISU game for the last 2-3 years; that includes plenty of ESPNU. If it's on the upcoming schedule, and you have access to espn3, then you will be able to watch it. I guarantee I will be watching it from espn3.com tonight.
They really shouldn't list any games on espn3.com at all that aren't going to be streamed. They have listings on their normal website for that.
I mostly agree with you, but I do think they might be making some changes to their site and thus maybe their normal practices.
Earlier in the day the default for me showed all networks, now my default goes to ESPN3. Which makes me think there is confusion, maybe about our game specifically if indeed it's not on espn3, so they changed their site defaults.
This would be the first ESPNU game in '12 or '11 I haven't been able to watch online.

LOL!
I posted exactly how to watch it online earlier. If your provider has that deal. Can't believe it's still being debated.
Holy hell how is this so hard for people to grasp?
1. Open Internet browser
2. Google ESPN 3
3. Click ESPN 3 link
4. Click Iowa State Baylor when the game starts
Yes it's on ESPNU, which you can watch through ESPN3 if you have Mediacom or another provider that supports it.
