Instead of the traditional cyclone power chant how about some new chants to celebrate the new year. I thought that a cool one would be a "Thank-you Auburn" chant at the end of any game that we're winning. Not only would it be a tribute to them for taking away our "problem" but also giving us Rhoads.

i don't like chizik just as much as the next person, but i think this would be stupid IMO. do you really think the players want to hear about that after they finally kicked off the new season and thought it was behind them

sadly I have to agree with Nick... but thats a freak'n hilarious idea :biglaugh:

(FYI - I would only do it for the first game if I did it, not every game. Make your point and move on)

This is the kind of chant that makes me jealous. I don't know why they only do it in soccer.

We need more than chants at the end of the games, we need something more aggressive. I say that if the clones win, we slaughter some goats on the 50. Not only will it "set the tone" it'll also help us color the field for the next game.

Rather then a goat would not a pig be more Iowa appropriate?

That and if you have never been to an international soccer game the songs and chants are amazing. To get that many drunken fans to sing the same thing is a small miracle. What is even more astounding is that they NEVER stop druing the game. They sing and cheer constantly.

I'm not saying that US fans could not do that but it would be very hard. Hell I live in LA where fans don't even show up until the 2nd quarter of Lakers games.

Actually given the opponet next week, I suggest a traditional "Beat the Hawkeyes *Clap Clap, Clap Clap Clap*" cheer to end the game

There aren't enough frowny faces in all of the interwebs to symbolize how bad of an idea that is.
