To be fair, he might have been more successful in just about any other league. The Big 12 has been so physical and defensive minded for the last few years. A guy who has a bit more of a finesse game can really struggle in this league.I honestly think Enaruna is at the right level now. He was not physical and was timid on the court.
Enaruna just didn't have the mental makeup to take advantage of his physical gifts. Some develop it later (Ochai Agbaji this season) and some just never do find that level of aggression necessary to thrive at this level. Maybe moving down to a lower level of competition will give him the confidence to be more aggressive. Best of luck to him, he seems like a good kid.I think KU and ISU fans both saw his potential and for whatever reason it didn’t work out. Hope he dominates at Cleveland State.
