They count on us filling the place. I have a group of 4, and none of us flinched.

Drake knows who they are marketing to. They only charge this for the ISU game (at least this year. Maybe they do it for Iowa.).

We will buy their tickets, and we will fill that place with "CYCLONE.......POWER."

Drake's front court is decimated with injuries. Rice is a nice BIg 12 caliber player, but this game should not be a problem for ISU.

Every seat in the Knapp Center would be a premium seat at Hilton. Call the Knapp Center what you want but remember, Drake fans generally pull for the Cyclones except for this particular game. The Knapp Center is a great venue. If you haven't been there before you'll walk away impressed.

Phelps is in the hot seat. Drake has two of the highest ranked recruiting classes in the Missouri Valley conference. Those classes are now juniors and sophomores. The Drake fan base is looking for a big time improvement this season.

After the beat down handed to the Bulldogs last year, if I were a Cyclone fan, I'd feel pretty confident too. I think Drake will have a better showing this year. I do wish Drake would have played a decent opponent before this game ... like an Eastern Michigan or Lehigh.

Same price it's been for the past 5 or 6 years ... maybe longer. When we go to Hilton, I have to pay a heck of lot more than that for good seats, unless I want to sit in the peasant seats with binoculars.

I agree that it's a lot for a ticket, but it's basic supply and demand. If Drake can come close to selling out at $28 a pop, then there's no reason for them to change it.

it does work..for football..my friend did this for every football game...got student tickets...sold each one for double...then bought a hillside and snuck in the student section......he made double profit and still got in the student section

I also saw someone selling tickets in F for 60 a piece...there are still tickets available in that section for 28 on the drake website lol.

I'll give them credit though...the ticket fees weren't nearly as bad as I had planned on. $5 fee for 3 $28 tickets? I can at least deal with that without feeling the normal bend over and take it from Ticketmaster.
