Double post problem

I am on a Mac, and the last 10 times or so I've tried to post a screen pops up that states I can only post once every 10 seconds.. to wait and try again. If I do nothing my reply doesn't post, if I wait at try again I get a double post.

Any help?

Might want to change your forum...seeing it was Men's Bball I thought we had another disgruntled fan...this time about the fact that we regularly pull a post and go 4 guards against smaller teams :biglaugh:

Trying going to the feedback/support forum next time.

Does it make a difference posting from reply vs. posting from quick reply? Just asking because it didn't seem to do it for the thread. Maybe try just using advanced reply for now.

I think you are on to something. I've been posting token posts trying to get to the bottom of it.

I believe the problem is that as a Mac user I am pretty quick to double click the mouse. Problem is mine not CF.

The double post issue has been happening since the update, Jer really is working on it.

As C.John mentioned, it's a known bug that I'm trying to resolve. Unfortunately it happens most when there are a lot of users on the site so it's hardest to track down the exact cause. I am working hard to get it resolved though as it's a terribly annoying distraction for users.

I believe that I have this fixed, please let me know if you continue to notice the problems after 7:15pm on Christmas Eve.
