Dog Question: Black Mouth curs

Anyone know of local (or remotely local...) places to get one of these dogs?

Its a seldom known breed in these parts, but it happens to be one of the most "famous" breeds of all time; Old Yeller was a Black Mouth Cur.

None of the Cur breeds are currently recognized breeds of the American Kennel Club (AKC)

I don't think there are any black mouth cur breeders in Iowa. I have a cousin who has a black mouth cur, and he had to go somewhere south to get it.

I love mine but I won't get another one. He isn't good with kids, has strange pathological fears, and has separation anxiety.
