I think some of them look cool, like the newer black ones. Some are just butt ugly. Who owns one and how do you like it?
I think it appeals to me because standing next to it, I look good by comparison. The big problem with the Aztec is that it's built on a minivan platform. It was too expensive to modify the platform to make the Aztec look "right", so it came out looking all crappy.
It's actually not a horrible vehicle, other than it's one of the ugliest creations ever to come out of Detroit.

The Aztec fascinated me. I always wondered what executive looked at that butt ugly design and greenlighted it for production.
What fascinated me even more was when I saw someone driving it. I always figured that they must have gotten a great deal on it. Something like, Pontiac included a wet bar and a hooker in the back.

I agree. Every time I seen an Aztec it reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer designs that car and ruins his brother's business.
I have the Buick Rendevous (SP), which is the sister to the Aztec, just as functional, no where near as ugly. Not a great car, but it is no ford windstar either.
