Moved recently and got Dish. Was pretty excited to try out their joeys for portable receivers but not impressed so far with the HD. Football and basketball games most notably. Got a little fuzzy blur around the players which I never had with Direct TV.

Is this a product of the portable receivers? The 2 actual wired to coax receivers are upstairs with lower grade HDTVs and I don't want to lug my 55" sony bravia up there to test it out. Curious to hear some feedback if others have had the same issues.

Never had any issues with my HD pictures on DISH. Are you sure it was on the HD channel and not the SD channel?

My wired Joey's are clear. Do you have the wireless ones? Also, are you sure you're on the HD channel?

Got Dish with 2 Joey's and never noticed any issues. Joey's do (and should) look just as good. Actually, I have my old Plasma in the basement on a joey, and I still like it better than my new LED upstairs.

I would double check all your settings on the TV and the boxes.

Never any issues here either. Call their tech support. I've always had good luck with them when I've had questions.

Looked great on my end.

The sound though... I thought I heard us called the Cyclowns one time. But I don't think that's a Dish issue...

Check your signal strength in the network setup menu for the joey. My WiFi Joey looks great.
