Bummer to hear. I was thinking about starting in on it pretty soon here.
Maybe it will end well and change my opinion but it honestly feels like a mediocre CW DC show with slightly hire production value and more violence. I just think a lot of the writing/plot doesn't make sense at points and I found myself not really liking or caring about most of the characters.

I did love Cavill as Superman. I'll be curious who they intend to play that role moving forward. Especially if they end up keeping Gal or Jason.

Seems like a perfect time for Marvel to swoop in and snag Cavill for someone like Captain Britain or even Hyperion. I'd love for either of those characters to make their live action debut.

I'd be shocked if we don't see Cavill announced in a Marvel role within the next two years. How would you like to be Henry who seemingly dropped his Witcher role in order to be more open for Superman roles only for them to 180 degree switch course only weeks later on you?

While I'm not crazy about this full reboot plan by James Gunn, I do get it and think I can eventually get on board with it. However, what has become abundantly clear is that WB needs to seal up all these leaks coming out of their department and James needs to STOP responding to all fans criticisms on twitter. Sure, responding to fans as a director in the past when all is hunky dory can be fun and appear intimate, but he isn't a director anymore, he is the studio head now. Its a different ball game. Take a cue from Kevin Feige on running a studio correctly James. Button things up and only say stuff to the public in well-thought-out public releases when you are ready to say something. This responding to twitter is a lose-lose scenario for a studio head and wreaks of not having your crap together.
