Dan Carr?

On the ESPN 30 for 30 "American Gladiators," they try to get into the facility in Erie, PA. A mysterious guy named Dan Carr was involved in its beginning. They ask a guy if he has heard of Carr and he says yes, "Isn't he a wrestler in the Carr family of wrestlers?" The show just leaves it as a mistake . . . but might he have been thinking about Nate Carr?

They were outside Erie Tech HS, where Nate went to school. Better than 50/50 that the school employee/administrator they were talking to was thinking of Nate.

During the Iran Sheik documentary they showed video of the Iron Sheik trainig with former Iowa State wrestler Chris Taylor. If u ever met the gentle giant or know his story, he is a legend

Talked with someone the other day who as a kid went to Columbus Junction to listen to Chris Taylor. He was a little late. They thought they would fly, but couldn’t get up in the air because of Chris, so they had to drive.
