It's still an AD fundraiser. I’ve actually inquired if they could run a second one that would help NIL and am waiting to hear if that would be possible. It’s such a great event, and there is demand for more.
Count me in. I lucked out many years ago, getting our table. We haven't missed the trivia since then. I love the event because a little donor like myself can join and have a good time. I'll come back for the Collective Trivia for sure!

66th. Questions were much more challenging this year. The 1970s killed us. Where were my chicken wings????

Farm animal was death of us.

Also— forever been true— too much baseball and hockey.

Spelling was dirty too.

Probably something like 55th place.

Jamming out to music category!

Fun times!

We did surprisingly well overall worst category was 7 out of 10. I think it was 70's one.

Aced Far Animals and Bridges I think.

Finished 44th up from the 80s last yr, a good time was had by all. It was nice to sweep the final category makes you feel good on the way out the door.
@brentblum SW corner ran out of Ames Lager early but they had more coming were Ames Lager usage acceptable?

The crowd is certainly aging. It doesn’t have nearly the same energy as it did in its first several years. They’ve stopped introducing the celebrity guests and I have a feeling it’s because they’re not A, B, C or even D list anymore.

Low level assistants for Olympic sports, former letter winners from 4+ decades ago, and special teams fb players from the Rhoads era are not what I expected.

Our table was visited by J.P., FB line coach, the newest wbb asst coach, sports dietician and 4 retired athletes of various time frames. That's definitely the most high profile visits we've had in the time I've been going.

Another thing to be remembered is that it has grown exponentially from when it started with 20 or so tables.

The one time I played as a sub John Walter's and brent Metcalf came to our table. Metcalf spilled some beer on my shoe. I almost asked him to take it outside but I let it go.

I really liked that the overall trivia was a little longer with an extra intermission. There was more time to socialize and find celebrities for pictures and autographs, not to mention the much-needed bathroom break.
