I'm not sure most people in this thread do lolI'm not sure you understand what a "hot take" is
There's a few good ones throughout the thread. But also a good portion of legit predictions, milquetoast takes, and people just being weird.
Noel houses one for a TD on a punt return, and we get another pick six on D.
Ferentz calls a timeout to ice the ISU kicker ( he misses the kick). After the timeout, the ISU kicker nails the FG to win in regulation.
Caitlin Clark references/shots on tv outnumber Hawk points scored.
Lachey gets over 100 yards recieving.....however, Cyclones have an opportunity to win in regulation with the game tied at 10-10 with the ball at the Iowa 35 yard line with 50 seconds left.....clock mis-managment and tow consecutive false starts lead to a missed 55 yard attempt at the final snap.
In overtime.....an Iowa State interception gives us the game....Final 13-10.

No matter what happens we can all be hopeful that Kyle Oppenhuizen won't be inclined to write a 2nd terrible book.
Both defenses are salty, hungry and out for blood. The offenses on both sides can’t match the ability and prowess of their respective defenses. Repeated turnovers lead to opportunities that end in several missed FG attempts on both sides. It’s a sadly comical tragedy, and the JTS crowd, in a benevolent, spirit-of-the-sport, starts cheering for both kickers as the crowd realizes that kicker psychology can be fragile and takes empathy. Unbelievably, this continues to the 4th quarter, but the Hawks manage a red zone drive in the last few minutes. On cue, Cooper gets his second pick 6. ISU misses the PAT and eeks out a 6 point win that goes down in pillow fight history.
Yeah, they are talking about how with the good defenses, Iowa just goes into constrictor mode and squeezes the game to the end, protecting the lead instead of trying to expand it.
