Really enjoyed the call-in show tonight. Actually had some good questions. Pollard obviously isnt going to break any real news on a local call in show. But, he did say the current situation is completely different from last year. Coach is always interesting and gets you excited about the season. And John is always great too.

I only caught a few minutes of the show but I heard JP say season ticket sales are over 35K. We haven't been that high for a few years. JP also said they are expecting a large crowd on saturday, well over 50K. Pack the Jack!

35 K? I would assume that got topped by the 1st year of Chizik. Not sure about 08. With the Chizik era donation level changes and all, I'm really curious just how much Pollard has been worth to ISU athletics these last 4 years?

Of course its being spent as quickly as its made on JTS...but that aint a bad thing.

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't we at about 27K season tickets when Pollard got here? That's some good growth.

The line used was something like "Chizik's 1st year broke the previous record by about 3,000 tickets". I have to assume that previous record was set in Dan's tenure maybe in 05 or 06. I have a hard time believing McCarney's best years yielded so few season ticket holders if you mean 27 K as some sort of average for a short span.

Maybe it can be looked up online.

I think we're at #2 all time in season ticket sales.

Only Chizik's first year, where you needed season tickets for the Iowa game was bigger.

How about the guy who told coach he is skipping the game on Saturday night for his fantasy draft...
