I just heard an ad for a Cyclone radio show on 1700 The Champ. Wednesday nights at 6pm hosted by B.J. Schaben. I think it might be called Cyclone Watch" but I may not have heard that correctly. 'Bout time. Thanks 1700!

I made the mistake of listening to the Hawk show a couple of weeks ago. If i were a Hawk fan I would probably love it, pretty entertaining, definately got me fired up for the Iowa-ISU game...

Very cool. Its about time ISU got a voice. Maybe 1700 will give BJ a shot at his own show on a daily basis. I didnt realize he was a big ISU fan not wonder he left WHO.

B.J. could be ok doing this. I'm not a fan of his play by play for the handful of Cyclone basketball he seems to do on TV but that's not always easy.

He has Jamie Pollard on. I like listening to BJ Schaben. Sounds very professional and not smug....

Radio...

Tidbits...

Sounds like East Endzone is going to get announced in the next couple weeks. Will cost additional 11-16 million.

South Endzone expansion... Depends on more season tickets and more donations, or big donation.

Thinks Big 12 will have own television network sometime in near future.

All luxury boxes sold, some club seats left. Now has waiting list to get luxury box

Basketball wise....

Considers this Greg's first real year on the job. Too many transfers and problems. Young team... Likes Greg and how he does things and coaches.

JP compared himself to a "Hawk" fan going off the deep end cause his Brewers are terrible and over reacting because of it.

Big 12 network = bonertown.

With the amount of Big 12 content on FCS Central, it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to work with Fox to turn it into some kind of Big 12 Network. After ABC, ESPN, FSN, and Versus picked their games, the Big 12 channel could show the other games, kind of the way FCS Central sometimes does.

I don't understand why they can't get all the conference games telvised. If you can put games on FCS Central, can't you put another one on FCS Atlantic or FCS Pacific? It might might hurt viewership of one of the games, but overall there would be more viewers than if FCS-A and FCS-P were showing replay shows or D3 games during that time slot.

I say add however many lux boxes to the east side as he has a waiting list - they pay for themselves.

FCS-P shows a boatload of Pac-10 games already.
FCS-A covers all the 1-AA teams in the northeast.

It would have to be just FCS-C, and the downfall to that is its lack of satellite availability.
