Curtis Beardshear midnight run

I'm curious how many of you former staters have done the fabled Curtis-Beardshear run.
I was debating doing it the night before graduation but got cold feet.

Anyone got any good stories?

I did it while at ISU. It was chilly, I swear!

Since it is that short and in the middle of the night I assume it has some nudity involved.

The tradition as I've heard it is that you streak from the steps of Curtis to Beardshear from the first and final bell toll. Its a sizable distance, and I believe the bells only toll for ~30 seconds.
Fairly sure most people are in it for the streaking, though.

I've definitely done it and I'd say there was a good 30 other people doing at the same time too. Fun stuff. Yes, I do remember that you've got to book it to make it from one end to the other before the bell stops.

See, this was my issue. I didnt trust some dude taking an HD cell phone video and ruining the whole experience.

Yea, and I just would do it when I was out running at night to see if I could make the time, as never much of a sprinter. Kind of my version of intervals.
