I don't understand the Colorado love the media has. This is a team that won 3 games last year. They have an offensive line bringing back 5 starters which is always a plus but they gave up 44 sacks last year. Read the artical for the rest of the information.

If you look at the schedule they could come into league play being 0-4.

Does the school have enough money to buy out of the Big 12 and there head football coach?

I think CU will be a surprise team this year too. They probably should've won 2-3 more games last year which would've put them in the bowl picture.

I heard somewhere they were going to win 10 games last season. I can't remember where though.....

For 5 years running now they have been the Big 12 "darkhorse".

As an Iowa State fan... how pathetic has Colorado football become that I actually feel sorry for them? Man.... that must really suck to be a CU fan right now. Ouch. :biglaugh:

They lost 2 starting receivers and a stud recruit RB from 2 years ago. Hawkins is not a major conference coach, if they could afford it they would have fired him last year( buyout is way too pricey)))

Am I to understand you edited your post down to this? And you have a degree?

On topic, Colorado will do little impressing on the field this year so I can't imagine they'll be much of this talk after the season starts.

Big deal. If you get me and 15 of my friends, 44 bottles of sake would be 1 good night.

Scott never panned out, Stewart is a stud RB. Very similar to Arob but with more breakaway speed. I pretty much agree about Hawk, no doubt there will be a new CU head coach when they cast off to the Pac 10.

I agree Stewart is way better with what he has brought to
the field, but I just don't see that team improving that much in one year, there oline was horrendous, and I don't see Hawkins having/being the coach to improve this to the Big 12 calber that it needs to be... They will be good defensively as they were since he took over but will not improve enough to break .500... IMO KU with a new coach and system and losing a lot of seniors will finish ahead of them...

I don't think five starts is a plus... Where is this "artical" you are referring to?
