RE: The whole speed argument - it does make a HUGE difference, and it's very obvious when ISU was on the field last year that we were at a deficit.

I remember watching the Utah game last year, from very early in the first quarter I could tell we were in serious trouble - even after forcing a turnover - because the difference in team speed was so wide.

Mack Brown and Bob Stoops each have 1 National Championship. I don't think Brown wins another. I think Stoops does.

if mack brown can shape up his defense and his offensive line,he could easily vie for a national championship in a couple of years with malcolm brown and johnathan gray in texas's backfield.johnathan gray and brown will be the "elite" backs in the big 12 and both of them can break it from anyplace on the field. brown will be afreshman at texas this year. gray joins the horns in 2 years. last year as a junior at aledo,texas, gray scored 69 tds. that is one helluva lot of tds for a jr. high school running back in one year.
