I don't get to go to many football/basketball games anymore, but I wonder if it's the same guy I used to see scalping tickets all the time out there, every game at JTS and Hilton. Tough to tell since he lost all his hair through recent chemo treatments. The guy I'm thinking of also wore glasses, and as of a few years ago had a walking boot on one of his legs for several months. Anyone know if that was him? Bought tickets off him a few times, nice guy if that was him.
Yep. that was Chief. Really sad stuff. Great guy who I was lucky to get to know well over the years. I'm glad that the CF community was able to show him so much love down the stretch. We had many conversations about how much it meant to him. He was very grateful.
Ok, the white haired guy, Lee, hugging him in the clip. I sat beside him for football one season. What is his last name and what does he do, besides follow ISU every where? I seem to see him everywhere. Walking down the street in Memphis, there he is. Boating on Clear Lake, there he is.
Great guy that will be very missed. Was also a huge part of the Softball community. Was a great player and then later ran and managed the Tides 16 inch softball team for years and more recently Chucks who both won many State Titles. He was also recently inducted to the Softball Hall of Fame. What i remember most about CJ was he always remembered your name and he knew alot of people. R.I.P. CJ!!!
