Is this team better than last year? Yes, this has been asked by many, but lets say ISU beats KU in this B12 tourney, we would make it to the finals for the first time since 2000. Yes, the B12 is down a bit this year, but ISU lost to UT first round of it last year and didn't pull through in the B12 tourney. Personally, I think they are showing that they are a more complete team with more weapons pulling through at different times and more three point shooters. Clyburn is good but there isn't a superstar like Royce, just more players that can come in the clutch at different times. This team has something special about them.

Probably a bit better overall, but not as good defensively. Part of what was so good about last years team was the mismatch Royce brought

We're a different team. I know it's cliche, but it really is apples-to-oranges. Anytime you're comparing a team to one that had Royce White playing on it, your basis for comparison is going to be extremely unique.

We're a lot more "balanced" this year with a lot more scoring threats and even better perimeter shooting, if you're looking for some key differences.

As long as we don't get smoked in the first round of NCAA I'd say better team than last year. If we play competitively or win, this was the better year, you can't ignore the quirky fait of the two KU games and all the other close ones.
