Just announced: Iowa State will open next season against Colorado on Nov. 13 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.

sioux falls has had a national tip-off game for a few years. it's just a way to get high-level teams there and they agree because the games are usually on national TV

We were in the mix to play Gonzaga at the Corn Palace in Mitchell. This place is a tiny venue in Sioux Falls it looks like.

I'd love for us to have a great non-con this year. We return 4 of 5 in our starting 5. 2 of 3 from our regular bench contributors. We should be able to hit the ground running.

I don't like this. One less home game and not even for a high level team. Maybe if it would be somebody that will be better if it were against a team in the preseason top 25. Plus, weren't most of our games on TV last year anyways.

Its a really, really cool historic building that they've put a ton of money into.

Its small, but its awesome.

It's basically an upgrade in opponent over playing SC in Brooklyn this year. Plus Iowa is at home this year. Even if the SEC challenge ends up being a road game, I would assume the Hilton non-con schedule will end up being about the same level of quality.

Colorado may not have wanted to play a home and home. Anyways, this at least takes another Southern or Lamar off our schedule
