Hey cyclone fans! Im heading to omaha for the college world series over the weekend of june 16-18. I already have box seats for one of the games but my family and I were thinking about getting a few general admission tickets for the saturday night game. Do you guys have any idea how early we should go to get a decent spot? How much to spend on the tickets like scalping them or buying them online? Any other college world series must know stuff or things i should do? Thanks!

go early. If it's your first time, you'll be surprised how busy it is. We got there late in the outfield seats so we had to sit on the ground. Try not to get ripped off by people trying to get you to park closer to the stadium, there are people giving water out left and right so walking an extra 100 feet won't kill ya.

Overall, it's a great experience, have fun

if you want great seats in the GA outfield, get there about 3 hours early and wait in line (for first game of the day at 4pm). if you want the same seats for the second you probably wont be able to see the first game as they empty the stadium out after the first game. youll have to wait in line about 2 or 3 hours before the game while the first game is taking place. the GA outfield always has the best atmosphere with chants of left vs right field, beach balls, hot chicks, etc.

I have 4 tickets for both games on Saturday and Sunday. Looking forward to a good time. I also have an invite to a pregame party 1 block west for brats and beer before and between games.

Parking can be a bit crazy. I would say get there early. Hit up the Old Market area after, always a good time. I'm partial to Billy Frog's if it's still there. Haven't been there since in a few years. Stop by the 89.7 The River booth if they are there. Always had fun broadcasting from the CWS when I was on the radio.

Im thinking of buying the 10 GA TIX for 80 bucks. Probably having a group of 3 go on saturday and monday. Catch another game during the week.

What are the GA tickets selling for out in the street? I'd assume 10 bucks at most. I think they are only 12 at the ticket office for GA.

Great time this year. Been to numerous games, and drank far too many cans of Mountain Crest beer than I would like to admit.

My friend drove all the way from Kentucky to see this event. He's been to final 4's and a BCS national championship game he feels this is the best overall event he's been to.

The scenery at those California Schools must be something to behold. But, does anyone else get the feeling that even if you went to school there and you met them on campus, the first two questions out of most of these girls' mouths would be, "How much money do you make a year?" and "What kind of car do you drive?"

Most likely, you wouldn't be having any conversations with them unless they foreknew the two answers to be "alot" and "an expensive one"...
