Samson is elite? What for getting busted multiple times for recruiting violations? Blatant ones
I would say the list within the categories is fine and correct, however because these are very dumb names for different categories.
GOAT and Elite really just means long tenures, and some of the categories are terrible as most all coaches are in just the above mid to mid.
It's a fun thing, but doesn't have a good rank of the coaches.

Considering that TJ is only in his 4th season at ISU and 9th season overall, this isn't horrible. There are some guys on this list either on the same tier or above him that I'd say he's currently better than. Guessing tenure is what is keeping him down a few spots. Not sure how much people agree, but I would say TJ is a top 10 coach right now.
All those coaches and not one of them I would take over TJ!
Maybe I'm in the minority but I think he's probably better than we think. Tech was an overtime away from a Natty.
Now is he a Billy Gillispie trainwreck? Probably close to it but he can really coach.
It's interesting Lane and him are both at the same school because they are probably a lot alike.
After his flameout at Texas, I was really surprised he got a shot that fast at a major conference school. I figured he'd have a stint of mid-major purgatory required first. Ole Miss sure is classy.
Beard is a POS off the court but the guy can coach. Look at the programs he’s turned around.
No kidding. It's like losing your license for driving 8 miles over the speed limit.
