When we moved to Ames in 1960, my parents had to find a place quickly, and we ended up living at the Lincoln Apartments right across the street to the west, (I think they're some sort of condos or something now).
I lived in campustown until 1963 and never missed a home game, but was very young and honestly couldn't really tell you who was playing or what the score was. The experiences did, however, color my blood cardinal and gold for the rest of my life!
