What time would we need to be there before it fills up?
Finkbine is another option. I talked to a friend tonight and that is where he suggested and would be. Said if he isn’t tailgating himself he parks on the side streets to the south. Not sure on time yet.

We may end up joining them or another group at the Dental college. Would rather be with Cyclones though.

We haven't figured anything our yet. I saw hancher is an option, 1.25-1.5 mile walk it said, but that is what we did in Norman so that doesn't concern us. I just don't know the town much and am thinking being closer to the outside might be better in order to leave. With a 3 hour drive to get home it could get late afterwards. Guessing our son, daughter and her bf will want us to pick them up. Probably not hang with us but get them to the area.

I believe there are free busses from the Hancher area to the med school area.

Get ready for a polar opposite of jack trice tailgating, traffic is a nightmare the town is not setup for 100k people to be there.
Agree...the town really needs to be avoided on their home game Saturdays. It's a complete clusterfuck.
Also, on a side note, avoid it the other 6 days of the week also.

Its horrible, I had a hotel on 1st ave and we were tailgating about a mile south of the stadium. After the game it took me 2 hours to get to my hotel...2 f**king hours. Its normally an 8 minute drive. 3 miles.

You would think medical folks, like nurses and doctors would have more respect for their fellow man, you would also think lawyers would understand how dumb and risky it is to throw a beer can at the back of someone's head. This whole university is rotten to the core starting at the top, as evidenced by their animalistic behavior toward ISU fans in a friendly football game.

The depths of Hokroach nation (in the streets off Melrose) is home to the janitors who mop the hospital floors, not the nurses and doctors.

Snagged a Ramp 4 spot. Tailgate spot is like right across the street. With possibility of rain now, I feel pretty fortunate to be closer to the stadium. 68 for high tomorrow? Rain gear and at least a hoodie or pull over.

76 at kickoff, down to 68 by postgame
N 10 mph, potential gusts to 20 in 2nd quarter and later
30% precip during game, 50% after
