Anyone else hearing this may be new policy for this fall? I've heard a couple other people mention this to me so far, but don't know if it is true or not.

Wouldn't be surprised. That's what the Liberty Bowl was like.

Don't see anything on the website about it, but that's what a lot of places already do so it wouldn't surprise me. Would be a fine change in my opinion.

Ugh. I hope it doesn't mean long security lines, angry fans, and stacks of non-clear bags piled near the entrance.

This will be the new policy going forward according to Pollard on the tailgate tour. Basically cited how the NFL and many college teams have moved to it so they are as well. I believe he mentioned more information coming out as we get closer to the first game and with season tickets going out.

Better order your I-State clear bags, you don't want to look like a putz with generic bag.

Oh, it will.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but you cannot bring in that opaque blanket."

I hope they have 3 lines:

1. People with no bags.
2. People with clear bags.
3. People with non-clear bags (with counselors and police on duty).

I would have no problem with that policy.

Never understood why people think they need to carry a big purse to a football game.

If taking a infant/toddler that’s different.

What’s in that bag anyway?
There is literally no reason to take a bag into a stadium. Literally none. Zero.

More like, "Cyclone Club Victory and Directors level members to the right, the rest of you sheep get in that long line over there!"

This is all about rich donor wives and their knitting needles. If they ever start paying attention to the game, one of them is going to go stab a ref. Good precautionary move.

I think lots of places have been doing this.

Metal detectors too.

If you don't want it to be a hassle, don't take a bunch of **** to the game.

Items to bring: wallet/money clip/small purse, and your ticket. Maybe car keys if you drove.
