I don't have nearly the problem with this that I do with them outlawing it in bars. It's ISU property. They can choose what they wish to about smoking being allowed or not. I will miss enjoying a nice cigar on gameday in the parking lots, but, oh well, It's not what I'm there for. Merely a guilty pleasure I enjoy. I do hope it's posted though, for visiting teams. I guarantee you, most people won't even believe the police when they tell them there is no smoking. Looks like I'll have to go back to chewing on game days. I wonder if smoke in the air or spit on your shoes is worse? Oh well. I guess my big question is when are they going to ban alcohol from lots as well? I really just see it as another thing in the line of stuff they'd rather not have to deal with on game day.

I will say, it is nice to have bars smoke free, but if it's outside I have no problem with smoking. Now if you need to get your nicotine fix, just quit smoking and take up chewing! Skoal Straight and Copenhagen Snuff work the best.

If they keep banning stuff fans like to do, they may not have as many of them to deal with on gameday either.
