Didn't know until just a minute ago he was named defensive player of the game. Great job for you Christopher!!!! For a guy that doesn't get discussed much he's done some incredible things for ISU. His block against Iowa a couple years back has to be one of the biggest defensive plays in that series easily. Thanks for all the hard work and good luck wherever you end up.:notworthy:

Easily turned into one of my favorite cyclones. Always brought it.

Loved watching him play and it is sad to see him go. Good luck to him in trying to make something happen in the NFL.

Thanks for all your kind comments and well wishes to my son. I will pass along your comments to Chris. I can honestly say, I will miss visiting Ames and spending time with the Iowa State fans.

Enjoyed his time in Ames and was a pleasure to watch him really improve this season.

Anyone that always gives their absolute best effort on the field, regardless of ability, is an all-American in my book. Best of luck to him!

Seems like a great kid. I noticed when he received the defensive player of the game award, he was very humble. Loved to see that.

Totally off topic, but those uni's were sweet, right down to the helmut. I wish we had those as our road uni's all the time. I live in Phoenix, and got tickets to the bowl game from the guy who supplies all the Nike Uniforms to the schools. Great guy. I told him to get to work on Gold helmuts.

And C. Lyle played great in that game.
