I lost a lot of respect for Fowler after he led ESPN's "2005 USC team is the greatest football team ever" push before the Rose Bowl. He just embarrassed himself throughout most of those segments.

In his defense, he may have been right. It just so happens they ran into one of the best college players ever one night.

Could be worse. I like Fowler, he has an issue calling us Iowa on occasion, but he's not bad. Palmer is kind of meh, but I'm sure he'll do a good job. At least it's not the hooker killer.

Jess Palmer makes the tools on the Jersey Shore seem cool.

Only comparison between Jesse Palmer and the Jersey Shore guys is the number of chicks they bring home. I imagine Jesse and Craig James have a good system going-- Jesse brings them home, Craig James kills them--assuming they were hookers.

Palmer isn't good yet. You can tell when he's picking his shots reading off his talking points. And when Palmer and Craig James get on the air together, it sounds like they are playing grabass. I think David Pollock is almost better already (even though he always looks like he is high).

I like this. He's one of those dramatic serious guys. Should make the game sound more important than it is.
