Pretty sure it's the other way around.

Not a chance and there's one reason why...

Actually there are 74365798765978345 reasons but this is the biggest one.

I like Chipotle but I don't eat there as much anymore because it's too expensive for what you get... then again I got used to the one in Fort Collins that gave you a free drink if you showed a CSU student ID. Haven't found another one in any other college town yet that does that. There hot sauce also doesn't seem to be as hot as it used to be.

Qdoba had some really good chicken tortilla soup, that was the reason to go there. You could do the "Pick 2" or whatever it was for dinner, get a tiny bowl of soup and a little bitty burrito bowl, and it was the perfect size.
My wife and I would get the pick 2, usually have a free coupon for chips and queso, or a bogo combo. We probably ate there once a month with those awesome coupons.
Qdoba had really good Mexican gumbo. Really miss not having that on Duff.

I would get that pick 2 a couple of times a week, because it was relatively healthy and I worked really close at the time. I was dumb and didn't sign up for that customer points program until two weeks before they closed. I could have gotten a ton of credits.

I never tried the gumbo, I bet it was awesome!

Panch is way better than both Chipotle and Qdoba. Wish there was a Pancheros around here, there's no shortage of Chiptole's or Qdoba's though.

Except Pancheros of course. Chipotle is so manufactured and doesn't even have queso. Its made by McDonalds for god's sake. I'll still be at Pancheros destroying their delicious burritos.

I dont believe mcdonalds is associated with chipotle at all anymore i dont think. They just invested in them for a period of time.

I'm not a Chipotle hater or lover, however how does yet another restaurant of the same type really add much to Ames? I don't get the location and good grief, it's on the same exact road as Panchero's only about a mile away!

I do wish Panchero's was still in campustown. So many things have left there.

Fighting Burrito is absolute dog crap. Whoda thunk that food doesn't taste very good when it's burned. Meat always burned. Rice always undercooked. I'd rather eat a Jack's pizza everyday of the week.

Mmmm....Jack's.

I like Panchero's better mainly because it is an Iowa thing (at least for me, maybe they have spread a lot). Chipotle and Qdoba can be found anywhere in the country. Qdoba has better selection in my opinion.

Everyone that says they prefer Pancheros over Chipotle is a loser....

I've had both and nothing will ever beat Chipotle IMO.... I hope the new one opens in June so I don't spend all my money there.

If you support Iowa agriculture you shouldn't eat at Chipotle. Chipotle is a restaurant that uses words such as "natural" and "healthy" to describe their ingredients. These words are not true. The ingredients used at Chipotle are produced in niche markets by unsustainable agriculture methods. Their "free range" ingredients are not any healthier for the consumer. This restaurant does not support modern agriculture, which is the driving force of Iowa's economy! Don't support Chipotle.

Can you elaborate further on the distinction between unsustainable agriculture and modern agriculture?

I think you might be disappointed if I choose one or the other......
