JT certainly isn't as athletic as Ward, but he does have 4 inches on Ward height wise. Hopefully that will fill the gap with blocking shots.JT is not replacing Ward as a rim protector. Not this soon at least.

From the highlight tapes - on the eye test his skill set looks like a taller Tre King more than a BRE or Ward. There were several times where he was the dribble handoff / screener at the top of the key and then took the ball to the rim with 2 dribbles. And several very nice backdoor passes out of the dribble handoff look.
He has a lot of "true" low post finishes, just back his guy down and finishing off the glass. While there were dunks when he was wide open, he seems to prefer layups more often
A more athletic version of Solomon Young, but 4 inches taller? Not knocking Solomon either. So what would a comparison be.
TWSSThat was fast.
Sat next to Fish's mom on Saturday. Does not sound like he wants to go anywhere.I'm thinking at least one more spot will open up. Between Pav/Omaha/Fish/Hamilton I'm pretty confident at least one, if not two of them will leave.
I was going to say "well, if he played for Kansas, he could play Thursday" but....Can he play on Thursday?
And he seems like he passes pretty well and might have a free throw line / 18 footer jump shot.Dunked on Filipowski's head, I am sold
