I don’t know how Twitter works but would have expected a massive bump from him retweeting but it’s been really slow. I would have thought CW and he’d be the absolute largest catalyst.

Absolutely grateful and happy for anything at all, just a bit confused (that’s normal state of mind).

Again, in no way complaining as nothing changed in my heart. I can’t thank people enough for even reading, let alone sharing or donating. I’m just not social media smart:)
I did find that original CF post and shared it with a quote. Saw some really weird spammy replies. Guess I should check out Jamie’s share.

I want to thank you all so very much for your thoughts, prayers, donations, and sharing. We've raised about 25% of what we were hoping to inorder to get out of the whole so we could find a way forward. That's a great result.

Unfortunately, I don't know that there is much left to tap into. We've had CF, my work and former colleagues, my wife's colleagues, and LinkedIn. I'm not sure there are other avenues to pursue and I'm anything but networked or savy in these sorts. CW's X post didn't seem to make any traction, nor did Jamie Pollard's retweet. Those would have been the two biggest possible catalysts I could have expected. (incredibly grateful to both)

Again, your support means the world to our family and will get us part way toward our goal. I'm eternally grateful to every single one of you.

I am unable to provide for my family in any way (father, husband, bread winner, etc) and have them locked into a life sentence of doing everything for me. This was my big hope to have one last opportunity to really provide something.

CW mentioned it on the pod today as well so hopefully traction gains.

Email from Alumni Association, Jeff Johnson taking leave of absence due to Parkinson’s. So much sorrow.
Came to post that was just clearing out today's emails and read that. I've met Jeff a few times really nice person (my donor level is that if you're nice to me it's because you're a nice person not because of my level lol poor)
I figured Jeremy would be good with sharing.

Update - 3/6/25

Thanks to you, we’ve reached 25% of our goal in the past month—a milestone that is already making a huge difference for our young family.

As we’ve been at 25% for over a week, we’re hoping to regain some momentum. Our small network has already done so much, and your generosity means the world to us.

If you’re able to share our message with a wider audience—through social media, community groups, or other avenues—we truly believe it could make a big impact. We know times are tough, and there are many important causes out there, so even just a share or post could help us find a path forward.

Well, we keep chugging along. Hopefully both tournaments will help. A long ways to go but getting close to $20,000. Thanks to all.

One donation short of 200 and $35 bucks short of $21,000.

Do we have a fabulous $35 donor out there to take the sting away a tiny bit from that strange Baylor game?

In the ER for past 4 hrs and long time to go. Anaphylaxis due to severe allergy to new med. EpiPen at home didn’t do anything. Again, my wife is a saint.
Glad you got where you need to be - that’s scary!

So sorry. I thought I was the allergy queen. Have the epi for bee stings, one reaction the oldest two boys carried me to the minivan and the 14 year old drove me to hospital cause he figured he had a parent in the car even if she was unconscious.

Reaction to penicillin when I had strep. Skin peeled off after rash. Perfume allergy. Scratches everywhere from Ash Wednesday service. And asthma triggered by smoke, incense, hay, etc.

And as miserable as that all is, this is so much worse, especially if the new med was helping. Will be worrying about you, I am a champ at that. Keep fighting!

Just leaving, anaphylaxis as expected. IV, meds and just waiting out the worst of it until the problem med gets out of my system in 3-5 days. Have more EpiPens if things get severe again.

Love y’all, Go Cyclones!

At least you can watch the game at home. And there was a generous large donor to help with your new medical expenses last night.

Bumping as we are slow again. The women’s basketball crowd seems to have come through last night. Maybe it’s too nice outside?
