Woof. Celtics just abusing the LA Big Ballers. LA really really sucks. Waiting for Nader appearance as Celtics are already up by 20 in the 2nd quarter and it isn't even that close.

Good lord, the NBA is boring. Not paying that close of attention, has Marcus Smart flopped in this game? Channel flipping to Wheeler Dealers, cause cars and stuff > this game.

If he's playing, then yes he flopped. NBA is the National Baby Association. Biggest bunch of whiners in pro sports. I'll watch the Bucks if they are on, otherwise can't stand it.

I just don’t see it out of Lonzo. He looks easy to play against. It’s a tough life in the current nba when you aren’t explosive.
He does a lot of things on the offensive end well and could be an elite passer/assist guy some day, but his defense is a liability and an aggressive defender can drastically alter his offensive output. All this adds up to a his ceiling being a good third option on a team with other superstars, but no way is he ever the best player on a team that is contending.

What’s it like living in 2004??? I can’t remember

I saw more defense in the last few years of playoff nba then I saw in the mid-2000s. but that's just me. Basically, there isn't much I'm excited about in sports in May/June, so I'll take anything.

Celtics are on a roll, best D in the league right now, best record in league...after losing an all star in their first game and starting 0-2!

Lonzo is "fine"... for now. If his shot was falling at an avg. percentage everyone would be talking about all the things he brings to the game. His defensive struggles are largely overstated. He looks like a 19 year old kid who is used to being the best on the court realizing he isn't even close which is fine. IF he can start making his shots consistently he'll be a great player, but his game will always be one that is best paired with another super star.

Some observations from watching the game... Nothing shocking here.

The Celtics are for real and have a very deep bench. They won last night without three of their best players. They will make some noise in the playoffs if they can get and stay healthy.
The Lakers are about a year or two away from being really good. They are sooo young with a lot of talent.

I was a Marcus Smart hater when he played at OSU like everyone else but he has turned into a really good pro. Plays very tough defense and shares the ball a lot better than he used to. I like watching him now.

Being a huge Celtics fan, the way they have played after the injury to Heyward is extremely encouraging.

Love the future with Gordon, Kyrie, Brown and Tatum.

This. I LOVE Giannis, he is the kind of talent a GM can build a team around. With Parker, Maker, Brogdon, they should get a lot better.

And they still have plenty of flexibility going forward. Look at all the assets Ainge still has to play with. They could land yet another top five pick in 2018 if the Lakers' pick falls between 2-5, or he could make an all in play on Anthony Davis if the Pelicans decide to blow things up and start over.

And the cool thing for the Bucks is that he's stated he likes Milwaukee, doesn't care for the big cities.
