Just a heads up to my fellow cord cutters that want to watch Iowa State this weekend:

Earlier this week, CBS Sports Network was added to PlayStation Vue service. You can sign up for a free trial on their site to watch the game.

Additionally, CBS Sports Network is available with Hulu's live TV service. Free trial available on their site as well.

I don't believe CBS Sports Network has an app to watch the live stream with cable/satellite credentials and I also don't think CBS Sports Network is available on Sling. These are the best options I've seen. I haven't tried Hulu live TV yet, but if it's anything like their OG Hulu service, I'm sure it's great. I have had very good luck with Playstation Vue on the FireTV and through Chromecast.

Enjoy and GO CYCLONES!

Fubo tv has a 1 month free trial right now. It has A LOT of sports channels. For a free month, its worth it for me. It includes the CBS one for the Akron game. Added the extra sports plus and the DVR, cost was $0. Be sure to cancel before the trial is up.

edit: it appears you get 5 weeks free. one month free plus the 7 day trial. It will say the free trial ends after 7 days and then your free 1 month coupon will kick in.

You can sign into the CBS Sports website and stream from there with credentials. I know with HULU's you can if you have the live service

I believe this is also good for tonight and next week's TNF on NFL Network since its not on CBS until week 4, but I could be wrong.

Holy ****. I didn't know this and was making other plans to watch. Thank you.

It's nice that Vue has been adding channels left and right without the giant price increases.

Thanks for the info. I had just started to look for an option. Decided on a Vue trial. And I may end up keeping it if DirecTV Now doesn't get their **** together.

Not sure I agree with that. My price just went up almost 30% ($35-$45/mo).

CBS Sports is nice for this one game, but doubt I watch it after Saturday.
I can't think of any channels they've added in the past year that I've been excited about. Maybe local channels, but I pick them up OTA already.

It went up about $10 between the time we tried a free trial and decided to finally cut cords. It's an attractive option during football/basketball season, but I'll probably switch over to Sling when those sports aren't in season.

Anyone sign up for the free trial for Hulu Live?

I dont want to pay the full month, can I cancel after a week or so and not get charged?
