A half hour in... Who's going today, and what is your plan for when you get there? For those who have been, did anything stand out/catch your eye?

I'm probably gonna go around 4-4:30 myself.

I think this is the business one.

Also what was the deal with yesterday's? Why did it take so long to get in?

Maybe the new way they were doing name tags? I really don't know. I got there at the start, so there was no line.

Yeah I saw they had something where you could get a professionally printed name tag if you brought your id. Kind of seems like a waste to me, but maybe if kids nowadays didn't have such worrible handwriting it wouldn't matter.

Exactly. It's been several years obviously but I never wore a name tag at career day. Never had a problem getting the pick of several internships.

I challenge whoever there to make up a fake name, name drop it and then sell it to the respective place that that person works there and you are good friends with them.

Make sure you guys act like you know everything. Then act like you should be entitled to a 6 figure salary starting off. Employers love that.

I've found that eye contact really bothers some potential employers. I noticed people were much more receptive when I instead chose a spot to stare approximately 1 foot below the eyes. This seemed to work especially well on female representatives.

I was thinking about going today around the same time as you, Fitzy. Wanna go around to booths tag-teaming our conversations with employers like in Step Brothers?

Vikes! Business 101 - We will appear not confident in ourselves alone if we do that! :policeman:

We might be able to make it happen though if we show up in very bright colors such as hot pink or neon green... That shows we are confident in ourselves and it should offset us being together :jimlad:
