Walking Cy should never be on our uniform. If you like the cartoon, by a t-shirt.
It's not a bad example when they also use the hell out of gray, which is NOT one of their school colors.
they actually have grey listed on their style guide as 'OSU SILVER' and incorporate it into a lot of their logos.
personally, i dont think it looks good with the helmet, jersey, and pants all being a different color, especially with the stark white and not having white incorporated anywhere else. white pants might be the only way to make this work at all.

Agree, the tri-color doesn't work too well. It might need to have white numerals and a white pants stripe, not sure if that does the trick.
The road uni looks fairly sharp. Again a hurdle is the tie-in, slight tweak could help making numerals white, with stripe on helmet and pants gold. (so overall effect doesn't bleed out too much of the gold).

When this markup was released a decade ago I was opposed to white helmets because it looked awful - and white pants didn't come until later. When white pants was added to the rotation I opened up to the idea of white helmets. Now I like them - as long as they don't do something stupid like gold pants cardinal jersey white helmet.
I'd been wanting the all white combo for years, and was so glad to see it last fall. Unfortunately the game was an absolute turd.
Just throwing my two cents in here as well, but Josh Knipfel's picture on the main page shows him wearing a black cap with the cardinal and gold I-State logo. Black is certainly trending right now. Certainly could be a smoke-screen but I don't think that's the case.

the thread is fine. what gets old is the same exact comments over and over again. there is never anything new. if we had new comments or actual news it would be fine.
I, too, have always thought messages on message boards were annoying.
Kansas State fans do NOT have this type of conversation. As long as Bill Snyder is in charge, we know exactly how the uniforms will appear.
