He said suspended until Dec and then they'll reevaluate.
I think with them going on this trip its a good sign they are on the right track.
I would be a tad surprised (and disappointed) if they aren't playing Dec 3 vs NDSU.

Hot take but if it's something where the requirement is to get it together by then, and they don't get it together, I'd be surprised if we see either again at ISU.

Honestly, I don't think that will be a concern. They're relaxed and engaged on the sidelines, and they are going on a trip of a lifetime that people in the doghouse typically don't take. To me, it looks like they've earned their way back.

Agreed, just thinking if in fact they're not back in December.

We never really know what's going on with a player but Cam especially seems to be more upbeat than really any time last year. Hopefully it's a good sign.

Hopefully it's a sign that the wellness center did him some good. Excited to watch him once he gets back.

I'm just hoping Prohm made the decision to suspend them both for this long before the season. It would be a bad sign if they had messed up again right before the year.

Pretty sure he said it was from early in the year.
I was probably just reading into his emphasis on the 'focus being on the players that had done the right thing and were on the court' too much. Just gave me a bad vibe in the moment as I was expecting a few games but an entire month kind of caught me off guard.

To be honest I'm a little bit worried how good we will be taking Halliburton out of the starting 5. That kid needs to be on the court. He is really good.

Meh. We’ve played 3 games against pretty bad competition. We don’t know if he’s good yet.

He will stay in the rotation.

Heck, would not surprise me if he is ahead of Talley.

They have a similar archetype as a lanky wing.

I don't know about Talley, but if Lard is being punished for things he did last year, then I don't understand why you'd think we won't see him again. Only if he was doing things recently. He did a pretty big step by going to that program this summer. Why would Prohm have him go to that, get him to come back and see a change, then dismiss him for things he did last year which prompted him going to the program in the first place? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

I don't think you read my post very well.

IF. IF Lard were to keep screwing up after all of this, imo it would be reasonable to assume he doesn't make it.

If he's held it together and keeps it together, fantastic.

Sure. I agree with that. Hopefully he's not messing up again - he has a lot of potential.

With the way Talley was playing at the end of last year he should be in front of Halliburton for playing time: and that’s no knock on Halliburton.
Idk Halliburton's energy and ball skills are something we really need more of. I like Talley but Halliburton looks like a future all time great if he stays 4 years.
