Saw on Caleb’s social media he was in the Hospital towards the end of March. Looked like he had just had a procedure/operation done. I would assume on his back, but not totally sure.

I know he’s had some injury issues in the past, but I feel like we were told his back issue was more of a “stress fracture deal.” Not sure if that requires surgery. Either way, that’s something to monitor as he may not be fully healthy again for a while.

Not sure being that far from Kansas/home and an old-fashioned hardass coach like Huggins is the best fit. But if that's what he wants for himself and his last year then... well, hope it works out.

Just not when playing the Cyclones.

And by the way, how does this get an immediate eligibility waiver? Going on, for what it's worth his 4th program. And the grad transfer thing in this scenario seems bs

I thought that requirement was removed.. aren't any/all transfers immediately eligible now?

It would be interesting if the transfer rules in College Sports we’re like European club soccer where loaned players usually can’t play against their parent club.

That would never happen but it's not a terrible idea.

It would reduce/eliminate a lot of the toxicity in fan bases with transferring.

It would reduce the "demand" for intraconference transfers, too. Maybe you wouldn't care most of the time, or maybe Huggins would be less interested in a guy who has to miss two Big 12 games.

Grill is a grad transfer
That doesn’t matter anymore, well as much. The one time free transfer was moved to use any year of your choosing, not just as a grad transfer anymore.

You can still get a waiver to grad transfer though, you just have to transfer for a program not offered at your current school, get written consent from the previous school you’re leaving on good terms, and a few other stipulations I don’t remember off the top of my head.

Grill is probably going to study front porch sofa selection at UWV...something ISU doesn’t offer.
