No idea, as they never showed what happened. Sama is critical too, pretty sure that was an ankle as the dude had ahold of his foot and did an alligator roll (which was entirely unnecessary)
I’m guessing ACL the way it was wrapped up. At any rate, it seemed like a major knee injury.
I’m not expecting him to play another snap this season.
With our LB group that might be about the worst season ending injury outside Rocco the team could have suffered. If it ends up being season ending
I hate knee injuries, if that's what it is. The knee, man, it's just not meant to do some of things it's asked to do.
So we're down 3 potential starters at LB.... There goes all the depth. Now it's the weakest unit in the defense, by far.
This is probably the biggest injury blow in recent ISU Football history.
Sama looked to be fine, just wasn’t needed at that point.
It’s hard to believe our LB’s are worse this year but here we are. We are going to have to win with offense this year.

I’m not a coach and don’t claim to be one, but why is one of our best defenders playing punt coverage?
Cause touchdowns count the same on special teams as they do on defense.
So there isn’t one guy that can’t cover punts in his place with one of the best punters in the Big 12? It’s also got to be situational in my opinion, that punt was around the 40 if I remember correctly and was more likely than not going to be fair caught.
If you have to put the heart and soul of D on special teams you got problems
