I don’t know if the Pac 12 will be a one bid league, but they deserve to be.
Yeah, the loss by U-Dub last night will not help the impression that the Pac 12 is running on fumes...

And you see why they are so hot on pairing up with the Big 12 in football. Their main revenue sports are in the toilet.

I actually think that would be an improvement.

I really don’t understand how Washington loses to a team that is ranked 278 in net and then only drops from 29 to 32. That is really puzzling.

It's a pretty big sample size this late in the season, so the needle isnt going to move that much over 1 game. Teams are pretty set in the computer rankings right now unless they have a total meltdown or go on a 6 game winning streak before the tourney.

Yea that is definitely true. I just really thought that losing to 278 would move it more.

Yeah their NCAA tournament payout is going to be bad this year.

Way up there
I was super disappointed when we lost Race Thompson. Guess I should not have been

He's played decent recently, he had a really bad concussion that has lingered for most of the year and he plays behind Morgan who is really good. I still think he's going to be solid. I'm happier with Conditt though.

Just like that, Cal might be looking at a 3 game winning streak here. As bad as the PAC 12 is maybe they can win their conference tourney.

Yup, it happened. Cal won at Stanford last night, 64-59, producing a surprising three-game winning streak. The first two wins in the streak were both in front of hundreds of fans at Haas Pavillion in Berkeley.

No surprise - Cal fired their coach yesterday. 16 total wins over two seasons. Yeah, I'd say that wasn't a good fit.

Actually it was a pretty big surprise to most of the national media. The Cal AD last week said Jones was going to return for another year. Apparently several of the players met with the AD after the announcement and changed his mind. Only 2 years even with the poor results is a very short tenure and one would think it could hurt potential hires.

That said Jason Kidd's name is already being rumored as the replacement some thought that the AD made the move now before he could get back to the NBA.
