I've heard both are pretty reputable for buying cell phones. But are they legit? I don't want a refurb or some other scam. I'd only buy "new" but that doesn't necessarily mean new.

I'd only buy from people with lots of reviews. Advice?!?
Can I buy with confidence

I'm looking for a new Galaxy s5.

Ive heard lots of good things about swappa though never bought one myself. They verify the phones are clean which is nice.

I bought my last/current phone on Swappa. It worked very well. In my case the phone was new and still shrink wrapped, but most phones I have seen there are "slightly" used. I would use it again and it will be my first stop next time.

I did not want to renew my contract and therefore went thru Swappa.

Just ordered off swappa. Got a "new, never used" galaxy s5. About $200 less than what I'd pay retail at verizon, over $350 cheaper than Bestbuy.
Now I just need to put my IPhone 4s up. Either on Amazon or swappa. Thanks

Late to the party but... another recommendation for Swappa here. I've bought/sold several devices using Swappa. A lot of developers use it. So, a lot of times the phones were just used for testing (i.e. - not beat up by the normal phone use).
