Yet because of ESPN's apparent policy of having to have every sport possible in the ATop 10 it was not the number one play of the night.
Yah, Burton's dunk was right behind a typical soccer goal somewhere nobody has heard of, and a girl's lacrosse game (although that was a pretty cool highlight).
Can't we also get a separate gif of Naz "raising the roof" after the dunk? This will be essential gif material for positive Iowa State news. Please and thank you.
It is likely #2 on all time ISU dunk list. Fizer posterizing some poor sap from Texas is #1 (chris mims?). Rashan Clark may have some in consideration as well but none that come to mind. Fizer's is definitely #1. I challenge Burton to beat in during the NCAA tourney.
Nader over OSU's Solomon was pretty nice too, but Burton's was nasty!
Oh man, that is so fantastic.
I was thinking the other day that it was too bad Burton had not had a "signature dunk" while at ISU - we know he can (think the Marquette dunk), and there have been many times he has taken the conservative layup (and sometimes missed!) when I would think "He could have destroyed that guy!"...so I am so happy this video exists, and that he got that dunk at that time in that game.
Iowa State needs a Dunk of the Year Award and it could be named the annual Nader-Ungghhh award.
