I felt like Lynx got screwed with that foul call in last seconds in regulation. They did a challenge and I feel like they didn't reverse it to save face.

This especially after having the NY coach tell the player to embellish her actions to draw a foul during the huddle. They cut the mic immediately after that as if they realized they shouldn’t be airing that.

They had 5 seconds to inbound the ball and take make a game winning shot and the player caught the inbound and instantly shot an off balance 3.
They figured the "let Bridget get an offensive rebound and try a putback" strategy worked in Game 4, so they tried it again in Game 5, and they needed to give her enough time to do that. And Bridget did come somewhat close to getting that rebound in Game 5.

BC was absolutely fouled on that rebound at the end too. Much more contact than the foul that gave Stewart the free throws to tie the game.

Loss last night still stings. Lynx have been a better team (albeit slightly) since Phee’s return from plantar fasciitis. If she doesn’t get sidelined with that, Lynx get the 1 seed and the title. Breanna’s 4 step walk no call was worst exhibit of refereeing in finals. On to next season

BC drew the charge bad call #1-
There was a blatant travel No call #2
Foul call on the shot bad call #3
Lynx were screwed out of a title. Simple as that-
Such a blatant travel. What’s the point of even having a rule then? No way were they letting the Lynx win. But jacking up an immediate 3 pointer with 5 seconds left was perplexing.

Lynx coach also was not happy on the record with the foul. She suggested a third party review when they do challenges. Which makes sense unless the 3rd party is in bed with the refs somehow.
