Offense : Isaiah Alston - I think he has the tools to be a great target for Rocco

Defense: Ka'Mori Moore - I saw him play a few times in high school, and I came away impressed. He was very disruptive. Obviously just a freshman and needs to adjust, but he carried his weight well.

Offense-Eli Green

Defense-Tashawn James

FWIW, I also think Rocco will have an elite season passing the ball. Im thinking something like 4k yards and 33 ish touchdowns

Ben Brahmer: 750yards and 9 TD’s

Marcus Neal: Stats may not jump out on paper, but he will be disruptive for sure!
Even when Brahmer played, I don't think he was very healthy all season. Hopefully we see a big jump in production.

We have so many targets to throw the ball to, idk if any receiving target is going to emerge as THE guy. Sowell, Alston, Green, Townsend, Brown, Brahmer, Burkle all need touches. That's so many. I think Hansen will become the bellcow back and put up great numbers

Defensively I think Tashawn James was incredible in the last couple games and I see a great season from him, if he can stay healthy.

Easy
Best Offensive player: Rocco Becht! \ a must
Best Defensive player: Dominic Orange! a must
Biggest needs: A left tackle who can keep Rocco clean.
An effective edge rusher
A speed RB
A leader at LB
A corner to pair with Jontez

Offense: Aside from Rocco, I'll say whoever plays LT. Will James Neal (or other) step up? [And, two young players will contribute, Brett Eskildsen, and Dylan Lee.]
Defense: No inside info, but I'll say Matthew Bess will step up. And, give me Caleb Bacon, in a great bounce back from injury year.

Offense: Gabe Burkle continues to build on his late season success and becomes a Mackey Award finalist

Defense: Caleb Bacon comes back and reminds everybody that he was the missing link last season in that unit.

I see T- Noah beat me to the punch with Bacon, so I'll throw in Jamison Patton as honorable mention to pick up Beau Freylers mantle at safety.

The videos so far this Spring make it pretty obvious they’re fully expecting James Neal to take the spot, and have a big year.

Looks like he finally puts it all together. And the guy is HUGE.

I’m not sure if it was a team golf outing but I was on the driving range at Coldwater a couple years ago with James Neal and Deon Silas on both sides of me. They had to be the two extremes of college football players based on size.

Offense: Daniel Jackson FINALLY has a healthy season
Defense: Beni Ngoyi
Special Teams: Xavier Townsend
On Defense, I'm really looking to see the development of Ngoyi, and I will add, Tre Bell. Two maybe similar players at 6-4, 6-3, and fast. If they don't see too much time as DB's, I have high hopes from them on Special Teams as well. Van Dinter also.

Hard to say who will shine this season. But like last year, we will need to succeed in all phases. Punting 42 yard average. Keep punts out of the end zone. Field goals last year were 75% made. We had 15 turnovers, about 1 per game. We obtained 24 opponents turnovers. Need to do that or better. We had 416 yards offense per game and averaged 31 points. We have the players, but have to limit mistakes, limit penalties again.

Not sure if you, and some others, understood the question?

It was who you thought would be the breakout (surprise) players on offense and defense, not the best players.

Every year I want it to be Ike on defense, so I’ll go with that again. Offensively, I’d like to see Alston go off.

Ngoyi is switching positions so I have no expectations for him to see the field much this year.
