Ngoyi is switching positions so I have no expectations for him to see the field much this year.
I would guess you are right, at DB. And didn't Darien Porter have at least his last 2 years at DB? So it will take some time.

Ngoyi can certainly make some noise on Special Teams though, while he's learning DB.

I think Porter moved after his redshirt soph. season, but did well on special teams while learning defense. It will take Ngoyi at least a year before he is ready to contribute on defense. I think David Coffey is gonna be a big time corner, opposite Jontez. Tre Bell has a lot of potential as well. Those two will probably compete for Porter's starting spot.

I feel like Nogyi will end up in the two deep but not starting. Like the 3rd or 4th corner. Here are my breakout players:

Townsend - for as many targets as they have, there aren’t really any with his skill set. Day 1 starter in the slot.
James Neal - I feel like a year behind Travis is exactly what he needed.
Ezeogu - Takes the step forward as a full time starter.
Willich - Finally healthy and lives up to the hype.
T. James - Got plenty of reps last year and now has the starting spot.
