Kids are thrilled. I think mommy and daddy are doing ok. Sure will make life easy. I will say that the guys at Stew Hansen were great to work with.

So what did you get?

Today I hauled home 19 4 x 8 sheets of OSB board and a bunch of insulation in my Honda minivan. It's really amazing what they can swallow.

We really like the combination of room and mileage we have with ours. It handles like a car too which is kinda amazing.

My folks have owned a Dodge caravan since 1992 (got a new one in 2000), both are still running. They are good cars, however, it would be interesting to see if Stew Hansen is so "great to work with" when something goes wrong.

we enjoy ours. its so easy for the wife and kids. auto doors and hatch, sat radio, dvd, etc. its a 07 town and country. i never thought i would like it, but i (and the boys) have taken it on long rd trips to michigan, N.Dakota, KC, and Minn. can't beat it.

Weak. If you've brainwashed yourself into thinking that minivans are acceptable in your life, you might as well take an early dirt nap. Raising children is not an excuse.

Did you have to give them your testicles as a down payment? And announcing it to the world on a message board...? Pathetic.

Do not expect an apology, or any sympathy on this. This is a heavy dose of tough love that you will hopefully learn from.

couldn't have put it better myself. Congrats on an awesome post. If you have convinced yourself that minivans are cool, than you are a loser.

Toyota makes a nice one, too. Congrats on the purchase. We love ours and they are without a doubt, the most practical family vehicle. We tried an SUV a few years ago and I sold it after about 9 months - hated it.

I have a feeling you can get a LOT better deal on a Dodge right now than a Honda or Toyota. I'm guessing at least $6K off sticker.

the only thing left to do is trade in your other vehicle for another mini-van ... and all your pants for mini-skirts. then the transition will be complete.

I traded my 4Runner in for a car AND I kept my 5x10 utility trailer just so later when we go to get a vehicle we can eliminate the possibility of a minivan in lieu of an SUV we can pull the trailer with. I'm hoping for a 4dr pickup though.
