Anyone know anywhere in Waterloo or Cedar falls where I can redeem bottles and cans more than one at a time in a wal-mart? Thank you in advance.

Its kind of across the street from Dairy Queen in Cedar Falls. In the area of Family Video/Dairy Queen/Peppers. I think its in the same white building as the tai kwon do place that has a sign on the side facing the road. Hope that helps.

The Waterloo University Ave. Hy Vee will take them (They have flats that you put them on and they count them, etc.) Otherwise, the place off 18th Street works too!

I did as well when I lived in CF. However, sometimes if they aren't real busy and you just have one bottle mixed in they will let you slide.

I lived in a house with 15 other guys. So when we would throw parties, we could usually collect up to 3 big garbage bags full of cans/bottles. The first time I took them back, I did not know the rules. Oh man did I get a stern talking to by the woman who was sorting my stuff. "Just think if this bottle was broken and I just dug my hand into this bag!" Dont they charge you like 10% or something for mixed bags?

There is a redemption place outside of Shell Rock that I use that isn't as anal about cans and bottles being separated.
