Side note: Swiderski is dating a KU softball player with a decent social media following and it ain’t for her playing ability.

Unfortunately, no top-50 games the rest of the way and no secondary post-season tournament (NISC) this year.

KU run-rule win to avoid the sweep.

ISU hosts South Dakota State on Monday afternoon (doubleheader starting at 1:00), followed by a single game at UNI on Tuesday.

Clones clinch the series by run-ruling Utah, 18-7, in 5 innings. The capper was a 7-run 5th that saw ISU bat around before the first out was recorded.

ISU now 13-7 in conference play, clinching the second winning conference mark in school history (1987).

Apologies for the semi-unrelated post, but didn’t see anything on this in the old threads I was able to find and thought this might be the best bet:

I’m looking for the ISU softball/WVU baseball mashup shirt from two years ago when those two teams started supporting each other. Was made by raygun. Finding the actual shirt to purchase may be a long shot, but I can’t even find an image of it anywhere. If anyone can even point me in the direction of a picture of the shirt I’d appreciate it. If I recall correctly it was a yellow shirt with cartoonish cy/cardinal character wearing a coonskin cap. And “cy” may have had a rifle/musket too. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Search for "Cycloneers". There seem to be at least a few sites (probably questionable) selling it.

7-6 loss to close the series at Utah.

Now 28-20 overall, 13-8 Big 12 (3rd), RPI 53 (as of Thursday).

Remaining games:

4/30 vs Drake (200)
5/2-4 vs Baylor (55)

That loss probably eliminates us from at large consideration. Don’t believe well be able to get our rpi high enough now.
